BioWith so many solo projects releasing cookie cutter dashboard tunes, it's hard to find an acoustic act that stands out among the rest. foreverDOWN does exactly that, managing to stand out just fine. Writing what he lives and living what he writes, Casey Britt, the sole member of foreverDOWN, is reaching people across the nation.
Casey began writing as foreverDOWN after the demise of his former band "Three's Too Many." Since then he has fine tuned his skills and has an EP under his belt with a full length due out in March of 2004. The EP, "You Are Beautiful," has gained vast popularity over the internet and has sold copies all over the US and Canada. With the full length, "Life Alone is No Life at All," set for an independent release on March 31st, 2004, Casey proves his talent by writing above and beyond the "heart on sleeve" clichés of today's indie acoustic scene.
In January of 2004 Casey went back to his home in Rome, Georgia to record his follow up to the debut EP, "You Are Beautiful." The highly anticipated full-length, "Life Alone..." will feature 10 solid and beautiful songs with catchy melodies and unforgettable guitar parts.
Casey's achievements on the internet aren’t to be overlooked. In the three months that foreverDOWN was on mp3.com he received over 10,000 plays. Since then he has moved to purevolume.com and in his first month there he was featured as a "Pure Pick" on the front page. With tracks off the new album expected to hit the net in mid February, foreverDOWN is sure to be a name that every acoustic lover will know.
